Lindsay Lohan first captivated the hearts of many as the cute twins in the Disney remake Parent Trap. In this movie, the actress plays the twins who have been separated at birth and who plan to reunite their parents for them to be one family again.

This movie was shown in 1998. Ten years from now, we see Lindsay Lohan in another light. We see her somewhere that we never thought she would be in.

After the Parent Trap, several filmmakers and producers has noticed her efforts in acting, and has given her with some projects to complete, such as Mean Girls, Herbie: Fully Loaded and Just My Luck. Some of her movies did not do too well in theaters, so she tried starring in an independent film entitled Chapter 27. The movie was first shown in the prestigious Sundance Film Festival and Berlin Film Festival, both in 2007. She has also released several albums which is quite a mixture of pop and rock tunes.

Amidst all of the fame and fortune that Lindsay Lohan has been receiving, she has also been noted for some of the unruly behavior documented by the press. For one, the young actress has been reportedly hospitalized after a car crash in Los Angeles. Lindsay Lohan has been drinking some booze before the car accident, which inevitably led to the terrible fate. Thankfully, the actress did not suffer from any serious injury, and was back in the business as soon as possible. However, this did not stop Lindsay Lohan from living a high-velocity life. She often frequented parties, in which she chatted with fellow party goers such as Paris Hilton (who has been caught up in a similar scenario as well), and has been drinking and smoking in the bars and pubs that she has been going to. Probably the worse thing that she has been under in is a report which says that she has been using a usable amount of cocaine, in which she was eventually put under a rehab soon enough. Some say that her outrageous behavior is probably caused by the separation of her parents, which she has been strongly affected with. All in all, fans and supporters of Lindsay Lohan all think that the actress must do something about her behavior, or risk losing the fame and fortune that she has.

Lately, the young actress has been admitted to a rehabilitation facility, in which she will undergo an intensive medication. She was out of the facility after a few weeks.

Lindsay Lohan had a shoot for New York’s Spring Fashion edition, which reenacts Marilyn Monroe’s poses. Many critics think the shots were quite artistic. She is also known to shoot some films, including Labor Pains, which is all about a young woman pretending to be pregnant so her boss could not fire her. Everyone, including her friends, family and fans, all hope that she would continue to straighten up her act and continue her career as an actress and singer.

The most controversial among the controversial- this is what Lindsay Lohan is. Indeed, she’s famous. Search the web and you’ll find a lot about her. Read the news and you’ll be reading columns about her. In fact, controversies are what make actresses and actors known in the industry. But controversies isn’t good after all, words hurt more than any other. Lindsay is one of the victims of these people who would create a hullabaloo out of her life. She’s dating him now and she’s dating another after a second. Although, this is one of her tickets to fame still no one would be pleased enough when you read about all these clamor regarding the life of a very young actress.

During the time when she was filming the movie Herbie, she became the feast of intrigues from the internet to the tabloids, rumors about her health and love life down to her late-night parties were divulged. From then on, her personality worsens and she was now tagged as the untamed and damaged teen siren that everybody used to adore. Although these rumors are true or plain lies, one thing is on the spot and that is all her accomplishment as actress and singer which was overtaken by her bad diva persona.

Certainly, her maturing body and her budding reputation of enjoying night life despite her young age had made her a regular fodder for celebrity gossips. She was accused of receiving breast implants, her cheating on her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama, her car accident involving the paparazzi, her jaw-breaking and unbelievable weight loss, hard partying, and her new look.

Moreover, Lindsay Lohan alarming character had not stopped after all the rumors. Last May 16, 2007, she was arrested by the police for the reason that she lost control over her vehicle so she hit a curb. During the investigation, police officers found various contrabands inside her driving machine which was tentatively described as a “usable” quantity of cocaine. After, she was arrested she was again charge for driving even under the influence of alcohol and because of this, she had to go into the Promise Treatment Center rehabilitation facility located at Malibu for 45 days.

Two months after she was arrested, during the wee hours of July 24, 2007, Peck who is paparazzi had a strong argue with Lohan in a parking lot of Santa Monica Civic Auditorium. When the police arrived and had to investigate about what is happening. Lindsay Lohan refuses to take the breathalyzer test although she subjected herself to other sobriety tests. While being search, police officers found a small amount of cocaine in her pocket which leads her to be booked on felony charges of the possession of cocaine and transportation of narcotics. She had to bail $25,000 bail upon her release. Indeed, her life was full of controversies that had destroyed her good name. Some say this is just part of growing up and she’ll just learn sooner or later but if she won’t start learning now, she could loss everything that she has.

“Life is full of risks, why not take them?”- This is the favorite quote of the intriguing actress, Lindsay Lohan. With all the things that are happening to her now, some would ask what could have been the main reason why she had to act as liberated and as disturbing these days. Perhaps, her childhood had something to do with this. What happened to her family during her tender mind could have made a big influence into what she is right now.

When she was young, her mother would let her auditioned on various commercials and movies. But her first auditions for television work did not run as smooth as she had expected. She tried out for MDuncan Hines commercial and failed so while she is feeling low, she told her mother that it would be her last attempt and if she would not be chosen then Lindsay would just give up her dream of entering showbiz. As if destiny was testing her strength, at last she was hired and went to appear in more than 60 commercials. Because of her luck as a commercial model, she finally decided to work as an actress; the girl was given roles in soap operas and was by now considered as veteran on the field.

Although her career went on fine, family life is starting to fall apart and on December 2005 both Michael and Dina Lohan signed a separation agreement. And in August of 2007, her parents confirmed that their divorced had been approved already. Perhaps, the relationship of their parents is what bothers her most therefore leading her to live a miserable life. The family has a comfortable living. Her mother works as a Wall Street analyst and also worked as a Rockette in the Radio City Music Hall. Now, she is the manager of Lindsay. On the other hand, their father was able to inherit a family pasta business which he later sold. He also works as an investment banker.

You can picture her family as somewhat perfect; however her father had some issues to face in his life. Michael Lohan was sentenced to four years in prison in the late 1980s. In fact, he spent much of his daughter’s preteen years inside prison because of security fraud. After then, he was again sent to prison in the year 2005 because of “aggravated unlicensed driving” and attempted assault. He stayed there for 2 years and was released on March of 2007. Indeed, he experienced a variety of run-ins with the law.

As a response to this, Lindsay Lohan sang the song Confessions of a Broken Heart which is a heart-touching piano-based ballad that talks about her emotional response to their father and daughter separation. The lyrics: “Daughter to father / I don’t know you, but I still want to” clearly speak of how much she longed for a father figure in her life. Her father also responded to the song and says that he is thrilled with the new song, and he even wrote his own song as an answer.
